Members of the Discovery Education Community took over several locations during the course of a few weeks to connect, learn, and share at Meet and Tweets in Naples, Florida, Kissimmee, Florida, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. More than 40 teachers from Collier and Osceola Counties, and East Baton Rouge Parish, attended these event, including teachers, district curriculum specialists, technology teachers, and lots of media specialists!
Teachers had great things to say about these Meet and Tweets and the chance to connect with colleagues from across their school districts. One teacher wrote, “It was an excellent time of collaboration, making connections, and sharing ideas. I won’t only attend future events, I will recommend others come with me.”
Another teacher said, “Thank you for spending time with me to show me Board Builder. I can’t wait to build my first board after the Meet and Tweet and show it to my kids tomorrow!”
Does this sound like something you’d like to check out? Don’t worry! More Meet and Tweets are being planned for the future. Keep an eye on the blog and social media for upcoming information on our future Meet and Tweets.
