The Discovery Education Community team is excited to share dates and locations for the 2017 Day of Discovery Tour.
A series of full-day, professional development opportunities, the Day of Discovery Tour (DOD) helps educators learn more about integrating Discovery Education’s digital content into their curriculum, provides opportunities for participants to share strategies that are working, and connects attendees to their most valuable resource: each other.
This year’s Day of Discovery Tour kicks off on April 29th with two simultaneous events in Columbia, South Carolina and Chicago, Illinois. Attendees at Day of Discovery events can expect a day full of dynamic networking sessions, interactive demonstrations, open discussions, and opportunities to learn from other education leaders’ testimonials and experiences.
We invite you and your colleagues to join us for this FREE day where you can make connections with fellow community members and learn by attending presentations given by Discovery Educators, members of the Discovery Education Team and special guests.
We are looking for Discovery Education Community members to present 45-minute sessions on how they use Discovery Education resources, programs, and/or tools to engage students and other educators in learning. If you’re interested, please complete this application and be sure to also register for the event.
In 2017, the Discovery Education Day of Discovery tour will be stopping at the following locations across North America. Select a location, below to register. Follow our tour at #DEPD
