Discovery Education partners provide a number of family resources that aim to create an impactful learning environment at home and reinforce what is being taught in the classroom. Girl Scouts of the USA in partnership with Discovery Education created Girls Get STEM to spark girls’ interest in STEM and help young girls unleash their inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ potential! No-cost family resources from Girls Get STEM are flexible, easy to implement, available in English and Spanish, and will help students and parents extend STEM learning and exploration at home!
As an added bonus, families can access additional learning resources from Girl Scouts of the USA. Support students and their families during school breaks and beyond with turnkey resources to encourage ongoing STEM exploration!

Help students identify the impact their families have on the world’s oceans no matter where they live! This activity helps students uncover their local waterways and challenges kids to understand how their actions can affect the world around them.
