Reflect on the remarkable journey and impact of women throughout history and learn contemporary stories of women changing the world. This channel showcases stories of pioneering women throughout history who fought for equality regardless of gender, and explores impact women have had politically, in STEM, in the arts, in sports, and more.
Take a deeper look at significant figures in women’s movements with DE’s new Women’s History Teacher Choice Boards! These flexible collections of activities for grades 3-5 and grades 6-8 are easily modified to fit your students’ needs and interests. Jump into action with the NBA and WNBA Game Changers: Celebrating Women’s History video, which showcases game-changing women who are passionate about creating a more equitable playing field for all. Former WNBA player Crystal Langhorne and Seattle Storm Co-owner Ginny Gilder share about their sports careers and encourage students to continue using their voices to create positive change.
Step into the world of cybersecurity with Girls4Tech, Mastercard’s signature STEM program supported by Discovery Education. Hear from women working in cybersecurity to keep us all safe online and explore their exciting and innovative careers.
